The Client

Todd Haugh is a law and ethics professor at Indiana University, as well as a researcher, speaker, and advisor. He was seeking to create a platform to connect those in academics, business leaders, and students surrounding the complex topics of ethics, compliance, and behavioral science, as well as showcase his expertise and advising.

Project Overview

The website was developed as a hub for recommended reads on ethics and compliance, education around Todd’s ethics concepts, a collaborative community, and promotion of Todd’s consulting and speaking. Todd not only uses this site as a platform for others to find his top recommended reads, but to unite those within the BELL Lab.

Brand Photography

Being a niche subject within the legal field, a brand photographer was brought on board to uniquely represent Todd and his work.

The entire photoshoot is strategized in advance, from the locations and Todd’s clothing, to the props and photo angles.

Website Strategy and Design

With students, researchers, and businesses visiting the site, we wanted the resources to be easily accessible based upon the readers level of understanding needed. We divided the behavioral ethics bookshelf content into three categories — books, quick reads, and a deep dive. The brand elements were developed to be clean, professional, and feel scholarly through the fonts, color palette, and imagery styles. In addition to the brand photoshoot, custom visuals were created to help explain complex topics such as “nudging.”
